Compassionate support, grounded in experience.

Hana Perkins Simonova, registered psychologist

Hana Perkins Simonova is a registered psychologist, researcher, musician and mother of two. She brings rich experience working with adults, children and families in Australia, the Czech Republic and Peru.

Hana is known for a warm, non-judgemental approach. Together, you can make room for feelings, needs and aspirations; recognise inner potential and power; learn practical coping strategies; and nurture healthy relationships.

Outside of work, Hana enjoys singing, music, yoga, travelling, bush walking, camping, and time with family and friends.

A central approach

Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy

IFS is a compassionate, non-pathologising approach that understands each of us as having different inner “parts” — all with their own feelings, stories and protective roles. Rather than pushing parts away, IFS makes space to listen to them with care.

With greater inner understanding and connection, it can become easier to respond to yourself and your relationships from a calmer, more grounded place.

Hana has a particular interest in IFS and is Level 2 trained in this approach.
